What is the funding model?
The funding model is based on a partnership between the schools, the local authority and the private sector.
What do schools contribute?
All schools make a direct contribution towards the service, typically covering up to 50% of the project costs.
What about the local authority?
Once the schools are on board, funding is then secured through the local authority e.g. Education, Health, CAMHS, Regeneration, Policing, and Children's Services.
Are there any other funding sources?
We also work to create a consortium of children's champions, bringing together contributions from corporate sponsors, private donors and grant-making trusts.
Who is responsible for securing the funds?
Funding for each hub is secured locally through the Steering Group, which comrpises The Place2Be, participating Head teachers, and representatives from other relevant partner agencies.
Does The Place2Be help schools find the funds?
The Place2Be provides substantial assistance to the Hub Steering Group in identifying funding sources, providing background information on the organisation as a whole, preparing funding bids and guiding the funding process.
